She served as chair of the department of management and organizationfrom 1999 to 2004. She holds a PhD in management from Texas A&M University. Her research and writing on the management of ethical conductin organizations is widely published and is known internationally. She has published more than 60 journal articles and has co-authored a textbook withKatherine Nelson entitled Managing Business Ethics: Straight Talk About How to do it Right, published by John Wiley in 1995. The fourth edition waspublished in 2007.
